Subject: Emile Hirsch

Charges: Actor Emile Hirsch was charged with felony assault in February 2015 after he allegedly put a female movie studio executive in a chokehold during a party at the Sundance Film Festival. Hirsch posed for booking photos following an initial appearance before a District Court judge in Park City, Utah.

Lee in Riot

Subject: Tommy Lee

Charges: In October 1999, Tommy Lee was arrested in North Carolina after instigating a riot during the 1997 concert at Greensboro Coliseum. Allegedly Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx made racial comments directed toward a black guard and suggested to the crowd to attack him. Sixx and Lee were to said to have poured beer over the guard's head.

Verdict: Lee avoided arrest in 1997, but returned in 1999 with his attorney and was served with charges of felony riot with ethnic animosity and simple assault, a misdemeanor. He pleaded no contest to simple assault and was sentenced to 18 months probation.

Russell in a Hassle

Subject: Russell Brand

Charges: In March 2012, Russell Brand was arrested by the New Orleans Police Department and charged with criminal damage after a paparazzi alleged that the British comedian tossed his iPhone through a window.

Trouble With Floyd

Subject: Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Charges: Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. was arrested by Las Vegas police in September 2010 and charged with grand larceny. The 33-year-old then Mayweather, also known as “Money,” was accused by his ex-girlfriend (and the mother of three of his children) of stealing her iPhone.

DUI King

Subject: Aidan Quinn

Charges: In October 2003, actor Aidan Quinn was arrested on DUI charges. Quinn was filming Empire Falls for HBO in Waterville, ME when police stopped him over for driving erratically. His Breathalyzer test revealed a blood alcohol of 0.12%.

Verdict: The busted actor pled guilty on April 21, 2005. He was ordered to pay a $500 fine, and his license was suspended for 90 days.

Cars and Drugs

Subject: Daniel Baldwin

Charges: In November 2006, actor Daniel Baldwin was arrested on drug possession and auto theft charges. He was nabbed by cops in Santa Monica, California after he allegedly took a friend's SUV without permission. Narcotics and drug paraphernalia were also found in his motel room.

Subject: Snooki

Charges: In July 2010, Snooki (real name: Nicole Polizzi) was arrested in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. The Jersey Shore reality star was seen intoxicated in public and was charged with disorderly conduct after other beachgoers reported she was bothering them. According to reports, the cameras for "Jersey Shore" were rolling when she was arrested.

Life in Twilight

Subject: Kiowa Gordon

Charges: "Twilight Saga" actor Kiowa Gordon was arrested by police in Tempe, Arizona when his car was stopped and a vehicle registration check uncovered two outstanding warrants.

The busted actor was transferred to another police department after it emerged a warrant had been issued for him to attend court in Mesa City for driving under the influence of cannabis charge. In addition to this, he had another outstanding warrant issued on behalf of Scottsdale Municipal Court in relation to an arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia, which were two marijuana pipes.

David and DUI

Subject: David Cassidy

Charges: In November 2010, David Cassidy, former teen idol and star of the 1970s tv show "The Partridge Family", was arrested by Florida Highway Patrol and charged with DUI. He was pulled over after a trooper saw his 2008 Mercedes weaving along a highway.

The busted celebrity claimed he took a glass of wine and a Hydrocodone pill earlier that day but he failed a field of sobriety and Breathalyzer tests as well.

Cage in Rage

Subject: Nicolas Cage

Charges: In April 2011, Academy Award-winning actor Nicolas Cage was arrested by New Orleans cops on domestic abuse and disturbing the peace charges. According to police, Cage was arguing with his wife Kim in front of a home, insisting that the house was their rental property. He grabbed her upper arm and dragged her towards the property that he believed they were renting -- there were no visible signs of injury to her arm.

The actor then began to strike cars in the immediate vicinity and attempted to jump into a taxi. At this point a police officer "immediately observed that Cage was heavily intoxicated and ordered him out of the cab, which prompted Cage to start yelling."

Verdict: The busted actor was briefly jailed before posting bond (set at $10,000 for the domestic abuse charge and $1000 for the charge of disturbing the peace) to secure his release from the lockup of the Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office.

Wrath of Glenn

Subject: Glenn Campbell

Charges: In November 2003, country singer Glenn Campbell was arrested by Arizona authorities for drunk driving and hit and run. He also was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.

According to police reports, the busted singer ran his BMW into another car at a Phoenix intersection, and although he left the scene of the accident, authorities found him at his home nearby. Officers smelled alcohol on the singer's breath and noted that he looked drunk.

Campbell, 67, was freed on $2,000 bail on charges of extreme drunken driving and hit and run. While being processed at a police station, and minutes away from being released to waiting friends and family, the singer became angry and kneed an officer in the thigh. That prompted police to arrest him again, on suspicion of assault.

Verdict: In May 2004, the country star pleaded guilty to extreme DUI and leaving the scene of an accident, for which he served 10 nights in jail in July 2004.

What's with Pat?

Subject: Jason Patric

Charges: In March 2004, actor Jason Patric was arrested by Texas cops and charged with misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest and public intoxication. The 37-year-old busted celebrity allegedly smelled of alcohol and fought with Austin police who were trying to clear a crowd of pedestrians out of a roadway.

Subject: Jaime Pressly

Charges: In January 2011, Jaime Pressly was arrested by California cops and charged with suspicion of DUI. The "My Name is Earl" star was pulled over by Santa Monica police and jailed following a field sobriety test.

Subject: Kurt Cobain

Charges: In May 1986, Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain was arrested for spraypainting "Ain't got no how watchamacallit" on the side of a local Seafirst Bank Building (now Bank of America) in Aberdeen, Washington. He was charged with vandalism.

Agent Zero in Limo

Subject: Gilbert Arenas

Charges: In May 2006, NBA superstar Gilbert Arenas, better known as Agent Zero, was charged by Miami Beach authorities with resisting an officer without violence.

According to reports, Arenas exited his limo to check on Awvee Storey, a Washington Wizards teammate, who was being arrested for blocking traffic. An officer directed him to return to his vehicle, but he ignored the directive so he was arrested and transported to the Miami-Dade County jail.

D'Angelo's Dilemma

Subject: D'Angelo

Charges: In November 2002, D'Angelo (real name: Michael Archer) was charged with assault, disorderly conduct, and other misdemeanors in Virginia stemming from an incident in which the Grammy winner allegedly cut off a female motorist.

According to official reports, the RnB singer cursed and spit on the other motorist. The police subsequently served an arrest warrant on him and had to use pepper spray to subdue the agitated performer.

Verdict: D'Angelo was released on his own recognizance, and was ordered to appear in Chesterfield General Court.

Suspicious Charges

Subject: Anthony Anderson

Charges: In July 2004, actor Anthony Anderson was arrested for the aggravated rape of a woman, a movie extra, who police say was assaulted after being lured into a production trailer on a Memphis movie set.

According to reports, Anderson and Wayne Witherspoon, a crew member, violated the woman with their hands and took pictures of her while she was nude.

Verdict: In October 2004, a judge, calling the case 'suspicious,' dismissed the rape charges against Anderson and Witherspoon.

Conspiracy Theory

Subject: Randy Quaid

Charges: In September 24, 2009, Randy Quaid and his wife Evi were arrested in Texas for allegedly defrauding an innkeeper, burglary, and conspiracy, stemming from a $10,000 dispute at a Santa Barbara, California hotel. Later that evening, the two were released on bail.

After the Quaids skipped out on their third court date, October 29, the Santa Barbara District Attorney's Office filed bench warrants for their arrest and extradition from Texas. Although subsequent arrest warrants were quashed, after failing to appear at court on April 12 and 13, 2010, $40,000 in bail was forfeited and arrest warrants for the couple were issued again on April 14, 2010.

Verdict: On April 28, 2010, felony charges were dropped against Randy Quaid after he and his wife were briefly jailed. The Quaids appeared in court after missing several other court appearances. Prosecuters were unable to bring a case against the actor but his wife plead no contest to a misdemeanor count of defrauding an innkeeper and will be on probation for three years. She will also be required to serve 240 hours of community service.

Tracey's Pains

Subject: Tracey Gold

Charges: Actress Tracey Gold was arrested by California Highway Patrol officers in September 2004 for DUI. Gold was driving with her husband Roby Marshall and their three young children when she lost control of her GMC Yukon, swerved off the road, rolled over, and tumbled down an embankment.

According to reports, the busted actress and her four-month old son Aiden were not injured in the accident, but her husband and two older kids suffered bodily harm. Marshall suffered a neck injury, their seven-year old son Sage broke his clavicle, and their five-year-old, Bailey, sustained minor cuts and a head laceration. Officers reportedly administered sobriety tests and Gold was arrested and booked for investigation of felony drunk driving.
