R. Kelly and Pornography

Subject: R. Kelly

Charges: RnB singer R. Kelly (real name Robert Kelly) was arrested in June 2002 in Florida and charged with 21 counts of child pornography and illegally engaging in sexual acts with a minor. The then-33-year-old Kelly allegedly had sex with an underage girl as shown in a 1997 videotape sent to the Chicago Sun Times early in 2002.

After closer inspection to the sex tape found that there was no actual sexual intercourse involved, the charges were eventually lowered to soliciting a minor for child pornography, seven counts of videotaping the acts, and seven counts of producing child pornography.

Verdict: In June 2008, the busted singer was acquitted of all charges, ending a six-year ordeal for the RnB superstar.

Barkley's Bar Fight

Subject: Charles Barkley

Charges: NBA star Charles Barkley was arrested for disorderly conduct in December 1991, after breaking someone's nose in a Milwaukee bar.

Bailing Bai Ling

Subject: Bai Ling

Charges: In February 2008, Bai Ling was arrested for shoplifting at Los Angeles International Airport. The busted Chinese-born actress allegedly stolen two celebrity magazines and a pack of batteries worth $16 dollars from the terminal shop.

Verdict: She was booked for investigation of misdemeanor shoplifting and released after agreeing to appear in court in March.

Hogan Doesn't Know Best

Subject: Nick Hogan

Charges: In November 2007, Nick Hogan (real name: Nick Bollea), son of WWE superstar Hulk Hogan, was arrested on several criminal charges, including third-degree felony reckless driving involving serious bodily injury, stemming from an August car crash that left his passenger in critical condition.

Police also cited the 17-year-old Hogan Knows Best star for use of a motor vehicle in commission of a felony, being under the age of 21 and operating a vehicle with a breath-alcohol level of 0.02 percent or higher and illegal window tint. He was booked on the charges at the Pinellas County Jail and later released on $10,000 bail.

Verdict: Hogan was sentenced to serve eight months in jail, after which he will be put on five years' probation. And after his release from prison, he must perform 500 hours of community service, as well as complete a DUI school within his first year on the outside.
