Subject: Terrence Howard

Charges: Academy award nominee actor Terrence Howard was arrested by Pennsylvania cops in September 2001 for assaulting his estranged wife.

According to a Whitemarsh Police Department report, after Howard and Lori McCommas argued on the phone, the actor warned, “Don’t disrespect me by hanging up on me or I’ll come over and hurt you.” McCommas then hung up and contacted 911 fearing Howard was serious. Howard went to her house, kicked in the front door, and punched the mother of his three children twice in the face.

Verdict: After being charged with a variety of crimes (simple assault, terroristic threats, harassment, and stalking), Howard subsequently pleaded guilty in 2002 to disorderly conduct.

Subject: Lil Wayne

Charges: In January 2008, rapper Lil Wayne (real name: Dwayne Carter Jr.) was arrested on three counts of felony drug charges in Arizona. The 25-year-old performer and two unknown members of his entourage were nabbed at a Border Patrol checkpoint near Yuma by Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

A search of his tour bus by the agents unearthed four ounces of marijuana, just over an ounce of cocaine, 41 grams of ecstacy, and various drug paraphernalia.
