Charges: In 2002, NBA superstar Allen Iverson surrendered to Philadelphia police to face gun and assault charges.

According to police report, it was during a domestic fight when Iverson threw his wife Tawanna out of the house and allegedly threatened two men with a gun while he was searching for her. As a result, an arrest warrant was issued. He was charged with 14 felony and misdemeanor offenses.

The former co-star of the TV sitcom "NewsRadio" was nabbed in a Murrieta, California parking lot after he allegedly groped a 17-year-old girl and then pulled the teenager's tank top and bra down, exposing her breasts (the incident occurred outside a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant).

During a subsequent search, police discovered a small amount of marijuana in the "extremely intoxicated" star's pants pocket and a single Xanax pill for which he did not have a prescription.

According to cops, Brolin tried to intervene so he was arrested and booked into the city jail.

Charges: RnB singer R. Kelly (real name Robert Kelly) was arrested in June 2002 in Florida and charged with 21 counts of child pornography and illegally engaging in sexual acts with a minor. The then-33-year-old Kelly allegedly had sex with an underage girl as shown in a 1997 videotape sent to the Chicago Sun Times early in 2002.

After closer inspection to the sex tape found that there was no actual sexual intercourse involved, the charges were eventually lowered to soliciting a minor for child pornography, seven counts of videotaping the acts, and seven counts of producing child pornography.

Police also cited the 17-year-old Hogan Knows Best star for use of a motor vehicle in commission of a felony, being under the age of 21 and operating a vehicle with a breath-alcohol level of 0.02 percent or higher and illegal window tint. Officers executed a search warrant on the 37-year-old Simmons's home and found cocaine, marijuana, and five pit bull puppies. The arrest follows an August raid of his home that turned up weapons, drugs, and 12 malnourished pit bulls.

Police pulled over Combs, who was fleeing with an entourage that included his then girlfriend, actress Jennifer Lopez, and found a gun under the front seat of his Lincoln Navigator.

The rapper-producer was also charged with bribery after his driver said he was given an offer of $50,000 and a diamond ring if he agreed to say he owned the gun found in the car. Combs was released after posting $10,000 bail.

Charges: In July 2002, Jackass star Steve-O (real name: Stephen Glover) was arrested in Los Angeles on obscenity and for being a principal to a second-degree battery, both of which occurred at a nightclub in Louisiana on July 11, 2002. He was charged for performing his now infamous stunt, The Butterfly (in which he staples his scrotum to his thigh!) and for participating in another stunt during which a bouncer slammed a patron's head on the ground.

After posting a $150,000 bond in the Los Angeles court system, Steve-O was allowed to return to Louisiana where he turned himself in to the local authorities. He was released from Louisiana's custody with a $35,000 bond in August 2002 and was required to return to Los Angeles to prove that he turned himself in to Louisiana authorities.

Charges: In the summer of 2003, Bryant was arrested in Colorado after a 19-year-old hotel employee named Katelyn Faber accused him of rape. The NBA superstar, while staying at The Lodge and Spa at Cordillera in Eagle, Colorado, had allegedly committed the sexual assault, according to police report. Bryant later admitted to consensual sex.

Verdict: For the 1996 incident, the busted celebrity was sentenced to three years probation for weapon and drug charges. However, just over a year later in December 1997, Downey was sentenced to six months in jail for violating parole. And after 18 months, in July 1999, he returned to Corcoran State Prison to serve a three-year sentence for another violation.


In August 1999, a California state appellate court ordered Downey's release from his term in state prison due to a sentencing error made by his trial judge. An appeals court panel ordered his immediate release. And as for the his other arrests, he was not charged for the judge had determined that the actor had been drug free for 14 months.
