Charges: Michelle Peck, whose daughter has resigned as Lohan's personal assistant, called 911 saying she was being chased by the actress. The Santa Monica police later found Peck and Lohan having a heated argument in a parking lot. The latter was found to have a blood alcohol level between 0.12 to 0.13 percent, above the California legal limit of 0.08 percent. Authorities even found a small amount of cocaine in her pocket.
The busted actress was booked on felony charges of possession of cocaine and transportation of a narcotic, in addition to misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license.

Verdict: Lohan was punished to serve one day in jail and 10 days community service for both her DUI arrests. In addition, she was also sentenced to three years probation,18-month alcohol education program, pay hundreds of dollars in fines, and three-day county coroner program in which she would visit a morgue and talk to victims of drunk drivers.
On November 15, 2007, Lohan entered the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California to serve her minimum 24-hour sentence. In line with prison policy for releasing non-violent offenders due to overcrowding, she was released at 11:54 a.m. - serving a total of 84 minutes in jail.
